	DREAM WITH US! Today, the AIDS epidemic is Africa’s most pressing problem. The survival of 25 million people, adults and above all children, is under threat. For years, the DREAM programme of the Community of Sant’Egidio has fought against AIDS in several African countries, uniting prevention and therapy and supplying antiretroviral treatment free-of-charge, especially to pregnant women. Our dream is to give birth to a new generation of children free from HIV and thus to safeguard the future of Africa. But our dream has already come true. Today 95% of our ill people are alive, enjoying a decent quality of life. 99% of children born to HIV-positive mothers are healthy, and their mothers, because they are treated, are well able to raise them. DREAM is a dream that can save a continent, safeguarding its future. Join our dream!
